We understand that life happens, and traffic can prevent timely pickups. We have allocated a 30-minute pick-up window to allow for a flexible pick-up time. Late fees will be added after the pick-up window is over, with $2/minute/child for the first five minutes and $5/minute/child thereafter of unscheduled overtime.
Can I breastfeed on site?
Yes, absolutely!
We provide a separate room for you and your infants to breastfeed in peace and privacy. A pump is not provided but you do have access to both the kitchen sink and the dish washer to wash the parts of your personal pump on site.
Are We Cloth Diaper Friendly?
Yes, we are proud to be cloth diaper friendly! At our child care center, we understand the importance of sustainable and eco-friendly choices. Here’s what you can expect:
  1. Laundering Services: We offer laundering services for cloth diapers used in our care. You can rest assured that your little one’s cloth diapers will be cleaned thoroughly and hygienically.
  2. Complimentary Diapers: As part of our commitment to your child’s comfort, we provide up to 10 cloth diapers per day. That’s one cloth diaper for every hour of care during the day.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or if you’d like to learn more about our cloth diaper-friendly approach!
What curriculums does your in-home daycare use and how do they adjust their activities for each age group in care?
Our in-home daycare uses Experience Curriculum. Experience Curriculum is a research-based curriculum that clearly explains learning benchmarks for children from birth through age eight2. It uses a developmental continuum of skills to understand where a child is in their learning journey2. This allows the curriculum to adjust its activities based on the child’s developmental level, ensuring that each child receives personalized and age-appropriate care. This curriculum is designed to foster exploration and learning through discovery, which aligns with our daycare’s focus on personalized care and Montessori teaching methods. We believe that this curriculum, combined with our commitment to quality care, provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for every child in our program.

Do you accept state subsidy vouchers?
No, we do not. However, we are approved providers for Childcare aware as well as MCCYN.
Do you offer part time care?
Kiwis Lil adventurers accepts part time students. Part time students can pick set days to attend. Meaning if you want to only attend 2 days a week you woukd have to pick those days and stick to them. example tuesays and thursdays. If you needed to be able to rotate your attendance each week you would need to pay for a full time slot which would allow you to rotate days each week.
Do you have a waitlist for your in-home daycare?
Yes, we do have a waitlist.
How can I add my child to the waitlist?
Our waitlist is maintained on Brightwheel. To add your child, please provide the following information:
  • Child’s full name
  • Child’s birthdate
  • Parents' full names
  • Either a phone number or email address
Can I pay to hold a daycare slot in advance?
Yes, you can secure a daycare slot by paying a holding fee. The details depend on whether you're reserving a future opening or a currently available spot:
  • For a future opening: The holding fee is $50 per month to secure the slot until it becomes available.
  • For a current opening: If there is a slot currently available that you want to reserve for a future start date, the holding fee increases to $100 per month because the slot remains actively unavailable to others while on hold.
Examples:
  1. Future Opening:  Suppose it is January, and there’s a slot opening in March. To secure that March opening, you would pay a holding fee of $50 per month, covering January and February, for a total of $100. Your child would then start attending in March.
  2. Current Opening:  If there’s an opening available immediately, but you wish to reserve it for two months before your child starts, the holding fee would be $100 per month. For example, if you reserve the slot in January to start in March, you would pay $200 in total for January and February.
This policy ensures fairness for all families by reserving slots on a first-come, first-served basis while keeping spaces available for those who need them most immediately. If you have additional questions or need help calculating your specific holding fee, feel free to ask!
How often are you closed, and how is tuition handled during closures?
As stated in our policy and handbook, which is signed upon enrollment, we are closed in observance of all federal holidays. Additionally, we have 15 days of paid time off (PTO) that are used throughout the year and may be taken in conjunction with holidays. Tuition is still due during all of these closures, provided that there was a 30-day notice given before any PTO.
